Netflix company decided to raise its prices again. They are raising prices from $1 to $2, depending on your subscription.
There are three different subscriptions on Netflix. First and with the lowest price is the basic plan. For now, the price of this plan is $10. The basic plan on Netflix allows you to stream on one device at a time and comes without 4K content.
Second plan on Netflix is the standard plan, which allows you to stream content
on two devices at a time, comes with better video quality than the basic plan and the price of this plan is $15,50 a month, up from $14.
The third plan on Netflix is the premium plan, which allows you to stream content on four devices at a time, comes with 4K content and the price of this plan, for now, is $20 a month, up from $18.
This is the second significant price increase since October 2020, when the prices were raised for $1-$2.
When you calculate the new prices for one year, you are about to pay $12-$24 more than the last year. Canadian subscribers will see subscription price hikes. The new monthly prices apply to all new members, and Netflix said the increases will “gradually take effect” for current members. You’ll receive an email from Netflix 30 days before the company starts charging you more, which gives you time to cancel or change your plan.
