Credit Card sized PC like Raspberry Pi are not easy to buy, as the demand for very interesting systems is much higher than the supply and inventory available, so they usually go to market within a few hours. Fortunately, the competition in this area does not stop. Khadas stands out among them all. While its systems aren’t exactly cheap, they are extremely compact.

Khadas’ latest computer system comes with the VIM4 sales code. The novelty measures only 82 x 58 x 13 millimeters and uses an Amlogic A311D2 SoC processor for data conversion.

The latter is equipped with four ARM Cortex-A73 processor cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of two GHz. The graphics content is accompanied by an integrated Mali-G52 MP8 graphics core ( 8EE) with a frequency of 800 MHz.

The compact Khadas VIM4 computer system is also equipped with eight gigabytes of LPDDR4x system memory and a rich range of connectors. These include USB Type-C, USB Type-A, microSD memory card reader and PCI 2.0 and M.2 2280 SSD connectors.

This Credit Card sized PC can be installed with Android 11 or Ubuntu 22.04. The retail price of the entry-level version of the Khadas VIM4 compact computer is set at 209 euros recalculated.

At launch, Khadas is offering the VIM4 as a bareboard or with an active cooling kit, which retails for $ 219.90 and $ 239.90 respectively. However, Khadas is rolling out an early discount on both models until June 10, lowering them by $ 20 to $ 199.90 and $ 219.90.
