When you open the Safari app, you will see that the tab bar is at the bottom of your screen, which contains your address bar and some tools.

The address bar disappears when you start scrolling on your screen, but when you tap at the bottom of the screen it appears again. It is made that way so that the address won’t bother you while you read some article or are searching through your favorite website.

Open tabs that you already opened ones

If you want to access the other open tabs that you already opened, you have to swipe left or right on the tab bar and you will find them there.

In case you want to change the location of the address bar, and move it to the top of your iPhone screen,

go and tap on the reader button that is on the left side of the address bar, and there you will find multiple options.  

What you’re looking for is the option “Show top address bar”. If you want to change it back, do the same process but select “Show bottom tab bar” instead.

Refresh a page

When you want to refresh a page, you can just pull it down from the top of the page or click on the refresh button, which is on the right side of the address bar.

If you need to view all tabs that are already open, just tap on the tabs button in the bottom-right corner of the screen and you can choose which one you want to open next, and then click on it, and if you want to close some tabs, just click on the “x” at the top right corner.

If you touch and hold the bookmark icon, which is under the address bar, you will see some options like: “Add Bookmarks for 6 Tabs”, “Add Bookmarks” and “Add to Reading list”.

Open New Prive Tab

When you touch and hold the tabs buttons, you will also have some useful options there.

If you want to open a new private tab, you will find the option right there. While you have the private bar open, you can also through the other private tabs open and also close them when you don’t need them.

When you want to turn off private browsing, go and tap on the option “Private”, which is on the bottom of the iPhone screen, and then tap “Tabs” and then it will switch to your non-private tab.

If you want to share an article, at the bottom, under the address bar you will see the icon for sharing. Tap and choose the way how you want to share it.
