Your battery is draining too fast while you listening music on YouTube. That’s because your screen is on and it’s using a lot of your battery power.
To prevent draining battery and to listening music longer you need to lock your screen. That option is not available on android phones, but not if you are using an Xiaomi device with MIUI. To do that, follow the steps bellow.
- First, go to Settings and tap on Special features. Than, you tap on Video toolbox, turn it on and go to Manage video apps.
- When you are in Manage video apps, check YouTube like in the picture below. After that, open the Youtube app. You will notice a line in the lower-left corner.
- Drag from the line to the right and it’s going to open the video toolbox. When you are in, tap on Play video, and your screen is going to lock, but the music will continue to play.
That’s it. You are now saving the battery life of your Xiaomi device. Enyoi!
