Live Text integration with Notes and Reminders
Live Text integration with Notes and Reminders was already introduced with iOS15 update and if you have used iOS 15, you are familiar with this feature, but iOS 15.4 improves the integration of this text-scanning feature.
Face ID with a Mask
The first new feature that we will show to you is the face ID update that allows you to unlock your device while wearing a mask. With iOS 15.4, you can use your Face ID while wearing a mask. Easily unlock your iPhone, use Apple Pay, and authorize apps and passwords.
Even when your mouth and nose are covered, your iPhone can now recognize you by analyzing the unique characteristics around your eyes.
New Emojis
iOS 15.4 Top New Features bring to us some new emoji characters adding 37 emoji and 75 skin tone additions for a total of 112 new characters.
With this emoji update, Apple is bringing to us melting face, saluting face, face with open eyes and hand over mouth, face with peeking eye, face with the diagonal mouth, and dotted line face, while new emojis include biting lip and bubbles.
Also, there are some new hand emojis, like heart hands, palm up hand, hand with index finger, rightwards hand, leftwards hand, palm down hand, and thumb crossed, index pointing at the viewer, along with an update to the handshake emoji.
Nest with eggs, empty nest, x-ray, crutch, playground slide, wheel, ring buoy, hamsa, mirror ball, jar, identification card, and low battery are new items, while plants and animals will include coral and lotus. Also, we can expect a new troll emoji, and eggs, beans, and pouring liquid make up new food items.
AirTag changes
Apple company has announced some new AirTag changes to come this year. First change is coming with the iOS 15.4 update that was released on March 14.
They added a new message that appears during setup and it says AirTag is “designed to be detected by victims and to enable law enforcement to request identifying information about the owner.” It also warns that using an AirTag to track people without their consent is a crime.
New Siri Voice
Apple adds a new Siri voice in the new iOS 15.4 for American users, which can be elected from the Settings app by going to Siri & Search and then selecting Siri Voice. Apple says that the new voice isn’t explicitly male or female and that was recorded by a member of the LBGTQ+ community.

For Personal Automations that are set up in the Shortcuts app, there’s a new “Notify When Run” option that lets you toggle notifications for Shortcuts that are activated on or off. With this option, you can choose not to be notified when a Shortcut activates, something that wasn’t possible with earlier versions of iOS 15.
iCloud Keychain Notes
Users that are using iCloud Keychain can now add notes to any password entry, bringing iCloud Keychain more in line with other password storing options like 1Password.
