Sometimes it’s not so easy to find the option to delete an account. That is made on purpose so that customers don’t delete their accounts so easily.

How to delete Instagram account
- First, open the app and open the options by clicking on the three bars on the right top corner of your screen.
- There, you will have a lot of options offered, but you need to click on the first option “Settings”.
- Once you click on settings, find the option “Help”, and click on it.
- In that bar, you will be given four options to choose from. You would have to choose the second one “Help Centre”.
- There, you will find a lot of options, but the one we are looking for is in the three bars on the upper right corner of your screen. Find the option “Manage Your Account” and tap on it.
- Here you will find the option you are looking for. Go ahead and click on “Delete your account”.
- Once you click there, you will be again given three options to choose from. You should click on the question” How do I delete my Instagram account? ”. Scroll a little bit down and you will find the option “Delete your account Page” that will be written with bold letters, so you can’t miss it.
Now, this is the final step in the process. Instagram wants to know why are you deleting the account, so you will be given some options to choose from.
The options that are given are:
- Too many ads;
- Created a second account;
- Too busy/too distracting;
- Want to remove something;
- Trouble getting started;
- Can’t find people to follow;
- Privacy concerns;
- Something else.
- Here at this point, you can select anything you want, or if you want, you can be honest and answer the real reason for deleting the account.
- Then you will have to enter your password and then click on “Delete”. Instagram will ask you again” Are you sure you want to delete your account?” so click on “OK” and you’re done.
