Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser that was developed by Google in 2008. It was first released for Microsoft Windows, and it was built with free software components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox.

Later, Google Chrome was ported to another operating system like Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android. On Android, it was and still is the default browser. The browser is also the main component of Chrome OS, where it serves as the platform for web applications.

Google Chrome offers to us a lot of helpful features, but I will show you some of the most useful that Google Chrome brings to us. Keep reading.

Hide your searches with Incognito Mode

If you want to search for something that you don’t want to be saved in your search history, you can use this feature. To open it you need to click on the three dots in your right up corner and then click on the New incognito window.

Open Accidentally Closed Tabs

If you sometimes closed the tab accidentally, with this feature, you can bring the tab back like it was never closed. To do that, click the right click on the Google Chrome tab menu and choose to Reopen closed window. You can also use the keyboard command Control/Command + Shift + T to open back the most recently closed tab.

Add Articles to your Reading list

You found something interesting to read online, but you don’t have time to read it right away. With this feature, you can save it in the reading list and read it later.

To save the page to a reading list, you need to click on Reading list, and then on Add current tab option.

This Google Chrome feature syncs with your Google Account so you can open saved articles across devices. You can even open saved pages without the need of an internet connection.
