Google recently announced the availability of the Android 12 mobile operating system. During development, the developers paid close attention to the graphical interface. They also devoted more resources to miniature programs designed to display information on the user’s screen. Of course, there is also a rich range of many new features and functionalities.

Android 13

After the release of Android 12, Google is already preparing for its successor. It is an Android 13 operating system with the Tiramisu development label. The novelty has been tested for a long time and the first public trial version is available. The first public trial version of Android 13 can already be installed on Google Pixel smartphones, namely Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. All you need to do is register the device in the “beta” program.

Android 13 Features

The new Android 13 will bring many new features to smartphone users. Among them, the improved Material You graphical interface can be highlighted, which can also be used in conjunction with mobile applications from other manufacturers. Here we also find greater privacy when sharing photos, greater privacy when searching for free Wi-Fi hotspots, and easy language switching. Users will certainly be thrilled with the updated silent operating mechanism, which will further enhance the user experience.

The new Android 13 will also be friendlier for fans of mobile games. It will be equipped with new features that will greatly speed up the download of mobile games. Among all, the GAME LOADING option stands out, which will ensure that the processor runs at full power when downloading mobile games. In practice, this means that the user will spend less time looking at the initial “picture” when launching mobile games.

Apparently, the new Android 13 mobile operating system will have an even smarter notification management system. In addition, the user will have more control over which messages will be displayed. There will also be a completely new power management system, which should be especially noticeable when connecting to Bluetooth devices.

The new Android 13 is expected to support the Bluetooth LE Audio standard, which will allow wireless music transfer with minimal power consumption. Consequently, this should slightly improve the autonomy of both smartphones and wireless headphones. In addition, the new Android 13 mobile operating system is expected to bring support for the LC3 audio codec, which should ensure better listening to music with much lower power consumption.

Android 13 Release Date

Android 13 is likely to be available in the fall of 2022, most likely in addition to the Pixel 7 phones.

However, the first versions of the software are already available. The first official signs of Android 13’s existence came on February 11, when Google released the first preview version for developers of its next major operating system update, with a second preview for developers in March.

On April 26, the software reached its first public beta, slightly earlier than expected – usually this year coincides with the annual Google I / O 2022 developer conference, which is scheduled to begin on May 11 this year.

We expect to see at least a few more public beta versions from now until the final release of Android 13.
